A New Beginning

So, I've decided to be brave and explore the world of art quilting. I can't really say I have a clue if this is a viable career, but it is something I feel compelled to attempt. The whole idea of doing this came via the making of "My Therapy Quilt" which developed during my depression after my mother passed away. This quilt is just about finished (just a few more rhinestones to add) and will be shown at Quilt Hawaii next week. This quilt is far from "perfect" in the traditional sense of the word, but to me it is "beyond perfect." If I had been trying to plan this effort I could not have been happier. As soon as I have a photo of the finished piece, I will post it for all to see.....
